21 hardy souls head out for Day 1 of our annual Spring Training Group Rides. (We picked Brett up on the road as he had to work late for 22 total riders). The clock read 3:15 as we rolled off for a mega dose of HILLS! This ride is a great format as the faster climbers can make it to the top and then head back down where the slower climbers can do the same depending on where they are on the hill. We generally regroup at the bottom and head to the next climb. The ride never strays more than 7 miles from the shop and we only have to do one hill twice (9 different climbs!). The distance covered was 50 miles with 5,560 feet climbed and an average gradient of 8% with a max gradient of 20%. Awesome job fellas!
